Other ways you can support the nonprofit services of Four Seasons.

Lois' Linens

After a hospital bed was delivered to the home of the Lois Vera Cruz, her husband, Valen, and their children realized that they did not have linens that would fit the twin size bed. Although not a convenient time for shopping, they were able to go out and make the purchase.

After Lois passed in February 2017, the family chose to show appreciation for the care she received by helping other families who might have the same need. From their gratitude and concerns for others, the Lois’ Linens endowment fund was born. The fund provides twin-size linens for in-home hospice patients and other special care items patients may need. If you would like to donate linens to Lois' Linens, we ask that they please not be white.

Grief Services

Four Seasons Grief Services are completely funded by community support. Your support provides anyone in the community grieving the loss of a person counseling at no cost to the client. Anyone can utilize these services, even if their loved one was not served by Four Seasons.

Our Grief Service team is experienced and equipped to assist in a variety of grief situations, including traumatic death and unexpected loss. Each client receives support that is tailored to meet their needs.

Scholarships and Internships

The Four Seasons Foundation offer scholarships such as the Trena Anderson Barishnikov Scholarship, established in memory of Trena Anderson Barishnikov.  This scholarship is for a Four Seasons staff person furthering their clinical education (CNA to RN, LPN to RN, RN to FNP, etc.).

We also offer High School Scholarships to high school students pursuing an education in clinical care and the Hospice Internship Program offers a fast track to career competency for recent nurse graduates interested in holistic caregiving.

Palliative Care

Donations to palliative care help people living with chronic and serious illnesses have a better quality of life, ensuring they can navigate and manage a life-limiting illness and receive the individualized care they need.

Private insurance may or may not cover Palliative Care depending upon the policy. Medicare/Medicaid will generally cover In-Home Palliative Care.

Because of donor support, Four Seasons has led the nation in innovating care, ensuring that the communities we serve have the best, most up-to-date care possible.

Last year, we provided approximately 10,000 palliative care consultations to the community, keeping patients out of the emergency rooms and helping them have a higher quality of life.
