Our team

The Four Seasons Foundation leadership team works closely with our Board of Directors who are chosen from the local community. We are incredibly grateful for their love for and support of Four Seasons. 

Foundation Team

Administrative Assistant & Database Coordinator

Debbie joined the Four Seasons team in February of 2021 as Administrative Assistant and Database Coordinator. She spent the majority of her life moving between the family ‘farm’ in central Pennsylvania where she cared for her mother during times of change, and the San Francisco Bay Area, where she first worked in the air freight industry, and then with a large Silicon Valley church and small Japanese-American church. Following the completion of her BS in Organizational Leadership at Penn State in 2007, she took a position with a large CCRC back in the Bay Area. Here she found a passion for the continuing care community and was a 2014 Leading Age Emerge Fellow.  Following this she spent the last 6 years at home caring for her mother; then, with her passing in 2020, she joined friends in Asheville, where she is excited to settle and spend time hiking and running the local trails, catching up on her reading, joining local community and church choirs, and getting a kitten!

DONOR ENGAGEMENT OFFICER

Lynn initially joined the Four Seasons family as a member of the Foundation Board in 2016 and happily joined the staff in January 2019 as a Donor Engagement Officer. She has been in non-profit and business development for the past 10 years, working with local, regional and national organizations including: Flat Rock Playhouse, The Cliffs Communities, Advent Health, Penny Insurance Agency and No Barriers USA. Originally from Los Angeles, Lynn is also a professional actress, with a BFA in Theatre from Southern Methodist University. She worked in the film and television industry in California and continued that work in the Southeast when she and her husband, Will Penny, relocated to North Carolina in 1994. In 2011 she accepted the position of Director of Development for Flat Rock Playhouse, which opened her eyes to the rewarding work of non-profit fundraising. She is passionate about connecting individuals and businesses with opportunities to enrich and change lives, which is what brought her to Four Seasons. Lynn is grateful and honored to work with an incredible team to raise funds for this vital, regional health care organization. Lynn and Will have four incredible daughters and two adorable, very spoiled pups! She loves spin classes, running, traveling, friends, and most of all, quality time with her precious family.

FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

Ann joined the Foundation team in September 2019 as the Finance and Administration Manager. In this role, Ann maintains financial records for the Foundation and provides executive level administrative support. She also manages all financial processes, budget tracking, and reporting, working closely with the Board of Directors, Finance, and Executive Committees. Ann leads her department with assurance and calm. She is well organized and successfully balances many tasks at once. She loves working with her fellow staff members and appreciates everyone’s dedication to establishing processes for excellent work. Ann’s background begins with a B.S. in Mathematics from Iowa State University. She has previously worked as a math teacher, software support, and as the Business Manager at a church in Cincinnati for over 20 years. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing the piano, crafts, and her family and church friends.

DONOR RELATIONS MANAGER

Anna began her relationship with Four Seasons as an Elizabeth House Volunteer shortly after moving to Hendersonville in 2010. Over the next ten years, she became an active volunteer and community resource for several area churches and organizations.In September 2019, Anna joined the Foundation as Donor Relations Manager, supporting her team as the first point of contact for donors and the administrator of the Foundation’s revenue database.Born and raised in the rural farmlands of Michigan, integrity became not only a personal value for Anna but a primary way of being. Her early education focused on Business Administration, Finance, and Real Estate. However, life brought diversity and added a variety of experiences to Anna’s portfolio such as Youth Ministry and Practice Builders Healthcare certifications. She is also experienced in personal caregiving, compassionate communication, corporate culture and values training, and collective think-tank concepts.Anna consistently carries a strong work ethic accompanied by a genuine sense of humor, forgiveness, and creativity. She brings thirty-five years of diverse experience and education to her role that includes Clinical Health Management, Sales and Marketing, Residential Construction and Commercial Land Development, Municipal Business Development, Property Management, Food Service and Hospitality, Team Building and Volunteer Training. Anna feels privileged to serve alongside such a unique group of individuals, all of whom share a never-ending spirit of giving. In her free time, Anna and her husband, Steve, enjoy time with their five children, visiting neighbors, and exploring the hiking trails near their home west of Laurel Park.

Director of Development

Stephanie joined the Four Seasons Foundation team as Director of Development in January 2021.  She has more than 20 years of experience helping individuals develop their estate and charitable plans. 

Stephanie joins us from Johns Hopkins All Children’s Foundation (St. Petersburg, FL) where she served as the Senior Gift Officer of Planned Giving. She previously served as the Chief Development Officer for Girl Scouts of West Central Florida (Tampa, FL) and Associate Director of Planned Giving at Moffitt Cancer Center (Tampa, FL). Before stepping into the world of fundraising, Stephanie worked at Bank of America’s Private Bank where she focused on trust administration and philanthropic planning.  She earned her degree in Trust and Estate Management from Campbell University (Buies Creek, NC).

Stephanie grew up in Mills River and is a graduate of West Henderson High School.  After living in Florida for 21 years, she is excited to be back home. Stephanie’s husband, Todd, is a professional photographer and they love heading into the Blue Ridge Mountains with his camera and their dog, Harley, in tow.

FOUNDATION EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

A native of North Carolina, Paige joined the Four Seasons Foundation team in 2019 as the Major Gifts Officer. In January of 2020, Paige was promoted to the position of Executive Director of the Foundation. As the Executive Director, Paige leads the Foundation and Home Store teams in reaching strategic goals and planning. Paige is a graduate of Brevard College and UNC-Asheville, holding degrees in Marketing and Liberal Arts. Paige has held previous positions that include Interim Director of Advancement, President and CEO, Executive Director and VP for Marketing and Development for organizations such as Southern Highland Craft Guild, The Health Adventure, Brevard College, and Christ School. She has also served as a member of the Buncombe County Tourism Development Board and chaired the Governmental Affairs Task Force for the Asheville Chamber of Commerce. Her career in fundraising began at her first alma mater, Brevard College and she has since raised over $60 million throughout her career in annual fund and capital campaigns.In 2008, Paige received the YWCA of Buncombe County Woman of the Year Award. Paige ensures that she is updated in fundraising trends and attends conferences as she considers herself a life-long learner. She values building long lasting relationships and enjoys matching the right person with the right project and feels this is when we experience true success.Paige has felt a wonderful connection to Four Seasons because of the care her father received through Four Seasons hospice. Her father passed away at Elizabeth House during Christmas in 2005. The care her father received as well as the support her entire family felt during that time is a major catalyst for her desire to raise funds through the foundation so others may receive the same type of loving end of life care. Paige loves to travel with her husband, Frank. She has two adult sons, Andy and Chris Johnson, and one stepdaughter, Morgan. Paige and Frank are also active members of Arden First Baptist Church.
